Hello & welcome to Bartlett Child Care Center, Inc. & to our website; my name is Kay Von Boeckman. I entered into the childcare industry 35 years ago when, as a Registered Nurse, I could not find suitable care for my two children. I was not a "picky" parent & yet I could not find care that I was comfortable with. I decided that providing a place for children of working parents & sending parents to work confident that their children were well taken care of could not be that hard so with this in mind, I embarked on a new & very rewarding phase in my professional life.    Today, as a parent & a grandparent, my goal continues to be the same - to send parents off to work with the confidence they need & have grown to expect regarding the care of their children. As an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the National Child Care Association & a member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Child Care Association, I am constantly improving what we do. I am proud to report that BCCC was voted by Child Care Business Magazine #38 on the list of top 100 childcare centers in the nation & voted one of the top 25 female owned businesses in Shelby county.
